Strategic Insights has announced that Ashlee Gerow has joined the agency as an account executive. In this role, Ashlee will be responsible for the day-to-day contact with many of the agency’s principal clients, including Builders Mutual Insurance Company, Cisco, CareFirst Animal Hospitals and Eaton. In addition, she will spend time on business development, attracting new clients to the agency.
Prior to joining Strategic Insights, Ashlee worked as an account executive at Gibbs & Soell, Inc., an international public relations agency where she created and supervised marketing campaigns and major events for clients in the science, healthcare and agri-business industries. Prior to her position there, Ashlee worked with MMI Associates, Inc., a Raleigh-based PR agency whose clients include Rocky Top Hospitality, a previous longstanding client of Strategic Insights.
“We were very impressed with Ashlee’s manner and professionalism,” remarks Bill Cokas, Creative Director of Strategic Insights. “From her very first interview, she came across as sharp, confident and unflappable. That’s the kind of person we need managing our clients on a day-to-day basis—someone who can be tactful under trying circumstances while always keeping the best interests of the client in mind.”
Ashlee graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations and an English Minor. She is active in several marketing organizations and networking associations.
“I am very excited to join the Strategic Insights family, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this position will bring,” Ashlee says. “The Strategic Insights team is extremely talented, and I’m fortunate to have the chance to grow with such an established agency.”
